Talkshow UMKM & IMA National Working Meeting 2025 Successfully Held in Jakarta
Jakarta, June 14, 2025 – The Indonesian Marketing Association (IMA) successfully hosted the Talkshow UMKM & IMA National Working Meeting (Rakernas) 2025 on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the prestigious Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, with IMA Central Board members and representatives from the Greater Jakarta area attending in person, while others joined virtually from across Indonesia.
The UMKM Talkshow served as part of the kick-off series for the annual IMA UMKM Award, a flagship program that celebrates outstanding micro, small, and medium enterprises in Indonesia. This year’s talkshow brought together distinguished speakers who shared insights, experiences, and strategies to support and scale up UMKM players across the nation.
Key speakers at the event included:
- Mr. Bagus Rachman, Deputy at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises,
- Mr. Benny Soetrisno, Chairman of the Indonesian Export Companies Association (GPEI),
- Ms. Irena Farriha, 1st Winner of the IMA UMKM Award 2024 and Founder of Cokelatin Indonesia,
- and Mr. Erik Hidayat, Vice President of Entrepreneurship at IMA.
The session offered valuable perspectives on the current landscape and future opportunities for Indonesian UMKMs, emphasizing the importance of innovation, digital transformation, and collaboration across sectors.
The event also marked the beginning of strategic discussions during the IMA National Working Meeting, where key programs and initiatives for the upcoming year were outlined to strengthen IMA’s role in promoting ethical marketing and supporting entrepreneurial growth nationwide.
IMA continues to reaffirm its commitment to nurturing Indonesia’s UMKM sector through sustainable initiatives, strategic partnerships, and by recognizing the remarkable achievements of local entrepreneurs through the IMA UMKM Awards.
Following the talkshow, the event continued with the IMA National Working Meeting (Rakernas), a biannual forum organized by IMA to review and align the organization’s strategic initiatives. This meeting serves as a platform for each Vice President and Central Board Member to present their progress reports and upcoming work plans.
The presentations were led by key figures of the IMA Central Board, including:
- Mr. Suparno Djasmin, President of IMA,
- Mr. Ivan Sadik, Treasurer of IMA,
- and Mr. Taufik, Secretary General of IMA.
The Rakernas also welcomed the presence of distinguished government officials, namely:
- Ms. Fajarini Puntodewi, Director General of National Export Development,
- and Ms. Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Head of the Office of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Micro Enterprises (PPKUKM) of DKI Jakarta Province.
Their participation underscored the strong synergy between IMA and various government bodies in fostering a more resilient and competitive entrepreneurial ecosystem in Indonesia.
